Our Story
Since a young age, I have been a dog lover. At a very young age, I begged my mother for my first dog. My parents took me to pick out my best friend when I was about three years old. It was Rusty, my salt and pepper miniature schnauzer puppy, that put up with all my crazy childhood adventures. It is safe to say that Rusty was the perfect dog. A few months before my 18th birthday, I had to say goodbye to my best friend. It wasn't the same living without a furry little bearded creature following me around the house after I lost Rusty.​
It all changed one day when I stumbled upon a long-legged awkwardly portioned schnauzer puppy given back by his original owners. He has had such a significant impact on my life that I would never have expected. As the king of the house, Charlie devoured my sneakers, chewed through the corner of my bed, and ruled the house as if it were his.
This long-legged puppy landed us both at a local pet store for some much-needed training. After a few classes with Noelle, I noticed the store was having a career day. The short version of the story is that I got the job. My next two years were spent bathing and pampering pups. Among other things, I learned a lot from the groomer who helped me perfect Charlie's breed clip. I was gifted my first pair of shears by her, a pair I still use to this day. There was no looking back for me.
Fast forward a few years, and I took a leap of faith to work out of an animal hospital instead of the local pet store. It was a whole new world for me. As the years passed, my partner and I grew closer. Before she even realized it, I was teaching her the trade. Our year was 2019. During our first grooming expo together, we fell in love with the idea of Mobile Grooming. We knew we had to take the leap of faith and give it our all. As I look back on that first conversation with my mother, I think she thought we were crazy. Over time, she became as enamored of the concept as we were. It was then that Nomadic-Tails was born. From Granger, Indiana, we picked up our first Wag'n Tails van in 2019. In the years since, we haven't looked back. The grooming industry is my passion, and animals are my life. It is an absolute blessing to live the life I do and pamper pups all day long.
Jo, Owner/Groomer
Jo is a certified professional groomer with almost 10 years' experience in the field. She has a deep passion for grooming and constantly strives to improve her skills and knowledge. Jo dedicates her free time to continuing her education and learning everything she can about the grooming industry.
After seeing the level of one-on-one care provided in the mobile grooming industry, Jo and her wife decided to dive into this service. They recognized the value of providing personalized attention to pets in a comfortable and familiar environment.
She takes pride in her work and provides top-quality care for every pet she grooms. Her expertise and dedication make her a valuable asset to the grooming industry.

Delilah, Costylist
Delilah is a new addition to the office staff. She takes her job of keeping everyone hydrated very seriously. She spends her time attending to the water bowls and making sure that they are always full. Her attention to detail is impressive, and everyone in the office appreciates her efforts.
But Delilah is more than just a water attendant. She has a heart of gold and is always looking for ways to brighten people's days. If you're having a rough day, Delilah is the person you want to see. She's known for surprising people with little treats like a yogurt cup, snack, or a stuffed animal. Her generosity and thoughtfulness have won her many fans in the office.
Senior consultant Josie has taken Delilah under her wing and is teaching her the ropes. So far, Delilah has been a quick learner, and things look very promising for her future in the office. We're excited to see what the future holds for this talented and kind-hearted young woman.
Delilah has recently moved onto bigger and better things with her new home dynamic. She loves her new life and role as a caretaker for 6 rescued humans.
We will always miss her hanging around the office but can not wait to watch her grow and flourish with her new family.
.Jen is a 10-year veteran technician who has recently turned her attention to the world of grooming along with her fiancé. Over the years, Jen has been assisting in various capacities and has finally decided to take her passion to a new level. She is currently in charge of a wide range of duties at Nomadic-Tails, where she works as an Accountabila-Buddy. As part of her job description, Jen is responsible for dispensing treats, providing belly rubs, giving butt scratches, and everything else that your pup loves during their spa session. Her expertise in veterinary care combined with her love for animals makes her an ideal candidate for this role. Jen is committed to providing the best possible care for your furry friend during their spa experience.
Ollie, Paper Shredder
When it comes to shredding paper, cardboard, tissue, or even drywall, there is no material too tough for Ollie. Mr. Ollie, the ultimate power chewer, replaced the Robo shredder back in 2015. Since then, he has proven to be a reliable and efficient shredder, able to tackle even the most challenging materials with ease. However, while Ollie is good at his job, he has been known to occasionally make off with a shoe or two. Despite this minor flaw, Ollie remains an indispensable member of the team.
Unfortunately, Ollie has passed away, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in the world of shredding. For those in need of a paper shredder at home, it is important to find a reliable and efficient partner. While there may never be another shredder quite like Ollie, there are many great options available at your local shelter. From compact personal shredders to heavy-duty industrial models, there is a shredder out there to suit every need.
Ollie was an exceptional shredder who will be sorely missed. However, his legacy lives on in the many documents and materials he helped to shred over the years.
Josie, Professional

Miss. Josie is one fashionable poodle who takes great pride in her wardrobe statement. She is a true fashionista who really knows how to strut it on the red carpet. Miss. Josie attends all of Nomadic-Tails' social functions and is always dressed to impress. She is truly a fashion icon in the dog community.
But Miss. Josie is more than just a pretty face. She is also a kind-hearted dog who loves to give back to the community. She really enjoys visiting the kids in our community. Her gentle nature makes her the perfect reading partner.
One of Miss. Josie's favorite day of the year is Touch-A-Truck at Carrollton Elementary School. This is an event where kids climb on and explore all kinds of vehicles, from fire trucks to police cars to construction equipment. Miss. Josie loves this event because she gets to meet new tiny little humans who are just as excited to meet her as she is to meet them.
Overall, Miss. Josie is a true gem in our community. She is a fashion icon, a reading buddy, and a friend to all the tiny humans out there. We are lucky to have her on our team.
Petey, Security Gaurd
Mr. Petey is a fearless 5-pound ball of terror who has been with Nomadic-Tails since 2019. He's known in the community for his alert signals and his tendency to cling to the pants of intruders from time to time. With Mr. Petey on the job, anyone thinking about robbing the joint better think again! This little guy is not to be underestimated.
Despite his small size, Mr. Petey is a force to be reckoned with. His keen senses and quick reflexes make him an invaluable asset to the Nomadic-Tails team. He takes his job very seriously and is always on the lookout for potential threats to the safety and security of the business.
If you're ever in the vicinity of Nomadic-Tails, keep an eye out for Mr. Petey. You'll know him when you see him - he's the little guy with a big attitude! And if you're thinking about causing trouble, be warned - this 5-pound ball of terror is not to be messed with.

Pooper Scooper
Max is a dedicated poo sniffer who takes his job very seriously. He has a keen sense of smell and is always on the lookout for any suspicious scents. Max's job is to make sure that no poo goes unnoticed, and he takes this responsibility very seriously.
However, every once in a while, Max gets a little sidetracked in the kitty litter testing department. While this may seem like a distraction from his primary job, it is actually a crucial part of his duties. By testing the kitty litter, Max is able to identify any changes in the cats' health and catch any potential health problems early on.
Thanks to Max's diligence, no poo goes unnoticed. He is always on the lookout for any signs of trouble and is quick to alert his team if something seems amiss. Max's dedication to his job is truly remarkable, and he is a valuable member of the team.
In conclusion, Max's poo sniffing job may seem strange to some, but it is an important part of maintaining a healthy environment. Thanks to Max's hard work and dedication, the team is able to catch any potential problems early on and keep the area clean and safe.
Rosie, Head of HR
Miss Rosie was the head of Humane Resources at Nomadic-Tails and was responsible for ensuring that all humans and animals alike stayed on track. Her bossy personality kept everyone moving efficiently, and if anyone had a complaint, they knew better than to mess with her. She was a force to be reckoned with.
Unfortunately, Rosie crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago, leaving a void in the office that will never be filled. Her bossy attitude may have been intimidating, but her dedication to her job and the well-being of the animals and humans she worked with was unmatched.
The office will never be the same without her, and everyone who knew her will miss her dearly. Her legacy will live on, and she will always be remembered as the sour patch kid in disguise who kept Nomadic-Tails running smoothly.
Charlie, Professional
Treat Taste Tester
Mr. Charlie is an employee who is quite motivated by food. He seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to sniffing out treats. If you drop a sprinkle of food in a ball pit, he will be the first one to dive in. But, as much as he loves food, he loves his human just as much. Well, only when food isn't involved, of course!
One of Charlie's responsibilities at our company is to ensure that all of our treat cabinets are fully stocked with top quality treats. He takes his job very seriously and is a bit of a treat snob. He insists on providing only the best treats, such as those from the bark shop.
We have to admit that Charlie's love for treats is a bit excessive at times, but it's hard not to admire his dedication to his job. He is an essential member of our team, and he always makes sure that we have plenty of treats to keep us going throughout the day.
So, if you ever need someone to help you with your treats, Charlie is your guy.
